Cross Cultural Infortech for Asian American health initiative
CC Infotech is a minority woman owned entrepreneurial holding company with 13 years of focusing on health care, health care information technology, and information technology in general. CC Infotech has a successful track record of building and implementing strong, successful quality programs providing cross-cultural interpreters and translators for various industries. Financially it is very strong with verified and audited financials and strong banking relationships. CC Infotech’s fiscal and budget management system distributes financial reports electronically to department-designated desktops. These reports allow the company the capability to track key financial data involving individual contracts.
The Program Director will not only be responsible for monitoring and reviewing all expenditures for the program, but will also track activities to make sure they are in line with the project’s timeline. Accounting department staff will assist the Program Director to ensure that expenditures are appropriately spent and invoices are submitted in a timely manner.
CC Infotech offers services in five main areas including:
Language interpretation & translation, Cross cultural awareness, Patient Navigation for LEP patients, Information technology for development of websites, videos and photo novels, and health information databases such as the Request Data System. Some of our clients are Asian American Health Initiative, African American Health Program, Fireside Partners Inc, Early Alert, Inc, SetCom LLC, the American Red Cross, etc.
Since 2008 Cross Cultural Infotech (CCIT) has been successfully providing linguistic and cultural support to the LEP populations of Montgomery County through the Patient Navigator Program (PNP), an integral part of the Asian American Health Initiative of Montgomery County, MD. The PNP provides patient navigation and medical interpreting to LEP residents in Mandarin, Korean, Vietnamese, Hindi-Urdu, Russian, and Malayalam. So far, the PNP has provided repeat and multiple access to health & human services for 3500 ethnically and linguistically diverse residents, responding to more than 73,000+ calls and providing interpretation (face to face and over the phone) more than 25,500 times. CCIT credits the success of our program to our excellent staff, support from the AAHI, the County and solid community networks.
