Visit Montgomery is excited to announce the first ever Discover MoCo Month in May! This month-long event will celebrate Montgomery County’s entrepreneurial spirit including selection of colorful restaurants, world-class performance venues, locally owned boutiques and more! Each week of Discover MoCo Month will focus on a specific theme including Shop MoCo Week, MoCo Hotel Week, MoCo Eats Week, and MoCo’s Kick Off to Summer Week.

In honor of National Small Business Week, Shop MoCo Week showcases Montgomery County’s local and boutique retail shops and small businesses. Residents and visitors are invited to shop local deals and more.

Eligibility Criteria

Must be a local shop, market, or retailer with a physical location in Montgomery County, MD.

MoCo Hotel Week: May 7 - 13

Coinciding with National Travel & Tourism Week, MoCo Hotel Week encourages visitors and residents to book a stay in Montgomery County by highlighting enticing package deals, events and more!

Eligibility Criteria

Must be a hotel, motel, or other lodging accommodation located in Montgomery County, MD.

MoCo Eats Week: May 14 - 20

Visit Montgomery’s Third Annual MoCo Eats Week celebrates Montgomery County’s thriving diverse culinary scene. From restaurants to farmers markets and taprooms to cafes, there is something for everyone.

MoCo’s Kick Off to Summer Week will feature Montgomery County’s unique attractions, experiences, world-class performance venues and more, encouraging travel to our communities all summer long.
