Savage Acres Farm is a family-owned dairy, beef and crop farm located in the Montgomery County Agricultural Reserve. We market our own beef and pork, as well as corn flours made from heritage variety blue and red corn that we grow and mill on the farm ourselves. Our livestock are grassfed and also eat local grains recycled from the distilling process. We sell direct from the farm for pickup and also at several local farmers’ markets, including Poolesville and select days at the BlackRock Center for the Arts in Germantown. In addition, we deliver to the local Dickerson and Poolesville areas. In early 2022, we will begin producing and selling cheese from our own dairy cows under the Brown Cow Creamery label.
