The Capital Region Minority Supplier Development Council (“CRMSDC” or “the Council”) is a non-profit (501 (c)(3)) organization located at 10750 Columbia Pike, Suite 200, Silver Spring, MD 20901.
Headquartered in Montgomery County, Maryland, a suburb adjacent to Washington, D.C., the CRMSDC has a small staff of seasoned business professionals who have dedicated a majority of their careers to providing MBEs with the tools and services they need to succeed in a national and global economy.
CRMSDC’s mission is to advance minority suppliers in a globalized corporate supply chain and to help our corporate members improve the diversification and innovation of their supply chains by connecting them to well established, certified MBEs. Currently CRMSDC has 60 corporate members and more than 500 MBE members. We accomplish our mission by focusing our four pillars— Certify; Develop; Connect and Advocate.
For more than four decades the CRMSDC has helped our corporate members to develop many of the most robust supplier diversification programs in the country, and helped position our MBE members to take advantage of these increased opportunities.
