Downtown Silver Spring

With its brightly lit holiday lights display, fun ice-skating rink and an abundance of restaurants, Downtown Silver Spring is a go-to spot to celebrate the holidays. Looking for generous portions that the whole family will enjoy? Try the Ginormous Meatball and Pasta Bundle from Matchbox. Take it home cold and bake fresh in your oven! Stroll along the lakefront for beautiful lights displays, Instagramable selfie spots, warm firepits and a bright blue tree floating on the water! Stop by the new window display at Rio Junction Station, featuring a village surrounded by running vintage tinplate trains. After working up an appetite walking through this winter wonderland, pick-up a delicious meal to go.
