What is Visit Montgomery?
Visit Montgomery is the official Destination Marketing Organization for Montgomery County, Maryland. Our mission is to promote, market and sell Montgomery County, Maryland as a destination for meetings, conventions, and individual travelers, as well as to foster economic development and support our partners and the overall business community.
Is there a cost to join? How much are the partnership fees?
Yes, partners pay annual dues, which vary depending on the chosen level of partnership and type of business or organization. To receive our Partnership Kit with detailed pricing and partner benefits click here.
What forms of payment are accepted by Visit Montgomery?
We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and checks made payable to Conference and Visitors Bureau of Montgomery County Maryland.
How is my partnership activated?
Partnership is activated upon receipt of your Partnership Form and payment of partnership dues for the current fiscal year. Partnership is automatically renewed at the beginning of each fiscal year. Partners will receive notice by email with renewal information and invoice.
What are the calendar months in Visit Montgomery’s fiscal year?
Visit Montgomery’s fiscal year begins in July and ends in June of the following year. For example, fiscal year 2023 begins on July 1, 2022 and ends June 30, 2023.
Once my partnership is activated, what is the next step?
All new partners will receive a welcome email with a letter from our President, Travel Guide, our most recent partnership newsletter, and partner only social media. Partners will receive periodic updates concerning partnership events, staff directory, marketing opportunities, and industry updates.

Is there a website or partner portal to access information?
SimpleView is our content management system that also powers the listings on visitmontgomery.com. Partners will receive a login upon joining.
Partners can find an updated events calendar with links to register for our current events, all partner newsletters, event photos, and social media on visitmontgomery.com. Each partner is provided with a link and login information to upload and edit their individual partner listing.

Non-partners can purchase ad space on Visit Montgomery.com, however partners receive either discounted or free ads depending on the level of partnership for digital and print marketing.
