About the “MINDSCAPE” Exhibition:
Noted artist Vian Borchert presents her newest paintings in the “MINDSCAPE” exhibition, where viewers are invited to immerse themselves in panoramic landscape and seascape abstractions that offer both the eye and the mind a gentle escape from the status quo. The work’s intent is to capture and memorialize a visual breath of fresh air, opening contemplative spaces within the viewing experience. Through expansive vistas, atmospheric skies, drifting clouds and luminous horizons – land, sea, and sky dissolve into poetic abstraction. The paintings function as sanctuaries from the noise of world events, with an aim to cultivate a sense of peace, harmony, and hope, qualities profoundly needed in today’s world. Inspired largely by voyages of the sea, the works evoke renewal, serenity, and emotional uplift, offering meditative realms that invite reflection and rejuvenation.
