Hunter’s Bar and Grill, originally known as Hunter’s Inn, has been a beloved landmark in Potomac since 1978. Known by locals as the “Cheers of Potomac,” Hunter’s has long been cherished for its welcoming atmosphere and strong community presence. It has earned a reputation as a gathering spot for friends, families, and neighbors to enjoy great food and even better company.

In 2002, brothers Fred and Murray Berman took ownership of Hunter’s Inn, revitalizing it into a popular dining destination. They officially rebranded the restaurant as Hunter’s Bar and Grill in 2014, continuing to build on its legacy as a beloved local hangout. The Berman family’s dedication and leadership turned Hunter’s into an institution within the Potomac community, and their influence remains felt today.

In 2023, the restaurant was acquired by Adam and Courtney Greenberg, with Dan Seaman joining as the general manager and contributing partner. With over 50 years of combined experience in restaurant leadership, the Greenbergs and Seaman are committed to continuing the tradition of excellence that has made Hunter’s a Potomac favorite. They are proud to carry on the legacy of the Berman family and ensure that Hunter’s remains a warm, inviting space where memories are made and community thrives.
