Work with natural Indigo dye in this hands-on tie-dye workshop with artist Trisha Gupta! Learn about how to tie-dye and use a Japanese process called shibori to make simple repeating patterns. Witness the magical process of the color changing from green to blue as the dye develops. It is a beautiful process that is right for any age.

This workshop uses the leaves of the indigofera plant to create a beautiful rich blue dye that can be used on any natural fabric, such as wool, linen, or cotton. Participants are welcome to bring their own cotton or wool yarn or natural fabric items from home to dye.

This workshop is appropriate for all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult and all attendees must register.
