The Tradition Continues: WBS Back for One Night Only! | Saturday, Nov. 21 at 8 p.m.

The 55 musicians of the Washington Balalaika Orchestra will present a program of many time periods and genres, including “Waves of the Danube, Fiddler on the Roof,” and “Speak Softly, Love” from The Godfather. “Winter is Coming” will also feature selections from Tchaikovsky’s “Nutcracker Suite”!

The Washington Balalaika Society is a community orchestra of musicians who perform the music of Eastern Europe, Ukraine, Russia, and many other countries, on traditional folk instruments. It is the largest orchestra of its kind in America and has been performing in the Greater Washington, D.C. area for almost 40 years. WBS supports the Ukrainian people and provides humanitarian support for displaced Ukrainian refugees.
