Gallery B is excited to announce their May exhibition: Turning Tides: Action, Resilience, and the Mental Landscapes of Black and Brown Voices. Presented by The Black Art Today Foundation, this compelling exhibition aligns with Mental Health Awareness 2025’s theme, “Turn Awareness into Action,” and offers a vital platform for Black and Brown artists to explore and express their lived experiences surrounding mental well-being.
The Black Art Today Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to nurturing and elevating artist of the African Diaspora. Inspired by the Kwanzaa principle of Kuumba, they are committed to fostering creativity, innovation, and the celebration of the resilience and cultural richness of the diaspora. Through a variety of services and opportunities, they empower artists to reach their full potential, enrich our cultural landscape, and leave a lasting legacy.
The exhibition runs from May 2nd to May 25th. Gallery hours are Fridays & Saturdays, 12-5pm, and Sundays, 11am-2pm. There will be an opening reception on Sunday, May 4th from 3-6pm. Registration required, RSVP here.
