Pike District Partnership Hosts Expanded “Summer in the Park” Series at Pike District Pop-Up Park
North Bethesda, MD — The Pike District Partnership announces the return of its popular “Summer in the Park” event series at the Pike District Pop-Up Park, bringing an expanded lineup of free community programming to North Bethesda from June through September.
The annual free series will feature live entertainment, community activities, fitness programming and family-friendly events throughout the summer, creating opportunities for the community to gather and connect in the Pike District.
New this year is a special family fun night with games and activities for kids scheduled for July 2. Other new events include a cornhole tournament where teams can sign up to compete for prizes and a music trivia evening for trivia buffs to sharpen their skills.

“Our Summer in the Park series continues to grow as a signature community gathering space for the Pike District,” said Theresa Cameron, Executive Director of the Pike District Partnership. “This year’s expanded lineup offers even more opportunities for people of all ages to connect, stay active and enjoy the energy of North Bethesda throughout the summer.”
Food and beverage sales during the events will be provided by local company Cookie YAY!, with a portion of proceeds benefiting Girls on the Run Montgomery County.
The Pike District Partnership also thanks Montgomery County for its continued support of the programming series and this year’s sponsors: Wonder, The Pinnacle and The Grand.
The Pike District Pop-Up Park has become a seasonal hub for community events and outdoor programming in North Bethesda, helping bring together residents, local businesses and visitors through accessible and engaging public events.
