Immerse yourself in the beauty and artistry of the Chinese tradition of Beijing Opera with this fast-paced journey through the tradition’s classic repertoire presented by DC Beauty of Beijing Opera (DCBBO)

Meet famous characters such as the monkey king, and become acquainted with classic archetypes qingyi (female roles), lao sheng (male roles), wu dan (female martial arts roles), wawa sheng(tender-aged boys), and the clown.

Enjoy live musical performance and admire the intricate and colorful makeup and costumes. Even have a chance to try some on!
