Founded in 1989, Metropolitan Ballet Theatre and Academy (MBT) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring dancers of all ages and abilities through professional instruction in ballet, jazz, modern, tap, and hip hop. With studios in Gaithersburg and Clarksburg, MBT offers a supportive environment where students can explore both technical training and creative expression. In addition to academy classes, students perform in professional productions alongside guest artists and benefit from outreach and arts education programs. Many graduates go on to study at prestigious summer intensives, college dance programs, and pre-professional companies. For more information, please visit www.mbtdance.org.
