Holly Trolleyfest is a holiday tradition at the National Capital Trolley Museum. Take a festive ride with Santa on historic streetcars through a mile of winter woods, and enjoy seasonal activities throughout the museum, including model train displays, crafts, photo opportunities, and holiday treats.
This year, visitors can also give back in a meaningful way. The National Capital Trolley Museum is hosting a holiday food drive in support of Olney Help. Bring a non-perishable food item or a grocery gift card during your Holly Trolleyfest visit and receive a voucher for free museum admission through March 2026. Look for the collection box inside the museum and help us support local families while celebrating one of our favorite trolley traditions. Details on the most-needed items are available on DCTrolley.org.
Holly Trolleyfest runs Saturdays and Sundays through December 21, 10:30 am to 5 pm. Plus, Monday, December 22, from 10:30 am to 3 pm. Buy your tickets online at DCTrolley.org. Admission is $12 per person.
