Come to Star Gazing Farm Animal Sanctuary for our annual Fall Farm Festival!

We’d love to see you and your family at our Fall Farm Festival on Saturday, October 19, noon-4pm! Last year we saw some of the most AMAZING costumes (both on people AND on animals)!!! Here are some highlights of the festival:

·       Kids wearing costumes get a prize (adults are welcome to wear costumes, too)!

·       Meet and greet the animals up close and personal with guided tours!

·       Craft activities for children.

·       Face painting.

·       Bake sale and cider.

·       Hot vegan food.

·       Gift shop open for you to peruse: we have with beautiful craft items, tiny knick-knacks, Star Gazing Farm T-shirts and caps, and much more!

Did you know we have some new residents? You can meet Winston, the gentle giant Kangal dog (as big as a pony, no joke!), Tapioca and Madhiba the angora goats (never met an angora goat? Well…. come over and find out how SWEET they are!), and Bilbo and Bruce the guinea pigs.  You’ll be able to greet them face to face and pet them (if you want to), hear where they came from, learn what we feed them and how we care for them. 

This is an animal sanctuary, and so some of our residents have come from less-than-ideal circumstances.  Some were picked up as strays, some were seized by animal control in cruelty cases; some are very very old and, having lost their life-long companions, have come here to retire, and some were born with physical impairments. Each and every one is special.  They enjoy visitors who are quiet and listen to what they have to say.
