On November 2, 2024, the Cedar Lane Caring Team will host the Caring for the CaregiverSummit. This important event will explore how faith communities can better support caregivers amidst the growing demands and limited resources facing both those who provide care and those who receive it.
The summit will focus on the impact caregiving has on families and how congregations can offer meaningful support to caregivers. Highlights of the event include:
A panel of caregivers sharing their personal experiences and challenges.
A resource panel featuring services available to caregivers in the DC metro area.
Although designed for Pastoral Visitors and Caring Ministry Teams, this summit is open to everyone facing caregiving challenges. As part of National Caregivers Month, it’s a great opportunity to come together, share, and learn how we can strengthen the support for caregivers in our community.
