(3-5) Go Dancing at Glen Echo Park
Get into the swing of Valentine’s Day by putting on your best red outfit and learning how to swing dance with professionals before showing off your new moves. Located in Glen Echo Park’s historic Spanish Ball Room, this special Red Valentine Swing Dance on February 11 will also feature live music from Craig Gildner and the Blue Sky 5! Admission is $30 at the door, or $20 if you purchase in advance online.
(6-8) Listen and Dine at Bethesda Blues & Jazz Supper Club
Catch a Valentine’s Day show with Jamison Ross and a special guest at the Bethesda Blues & Jazz Supper Club on February 14. The performance starts at 8:00 p.m., but doors open and dinner service begins at 6:00. Tickets are $49-69.
(9-11) Take a Sound Bath at Flying Buddha Studio
Open your heart for Valentine’s Day by using sound as a vehicle for expansion. The Sound Bath for Valentine’s Day workshop on February 12 will guide you through gentle movements, powerful breathwork, vocal toning, and an immersion of healing sound, while helping you feel more relaxed, centered, compassionate, and all those Valentine’s Day feelings. No experience necessary. The workshop costs $40 without a hammock rental and $50 with a hammock rental.

Head to Sandy Spring Museum for a Valentine’s Day extravaganza, For the Love of Chocolate…and Beer!, on February 14. Join Steve Moore from True Respite Brewing Company and Jill Sandler, owner and master chef of The Chocolatier’s Palette, as they guide you through a special interactive evening, pairing craft beer with craft chocolates.

The Comus Inn‘s Valentine’s Sweetheart Special menu features oysters, ribeye, a sampling of chocolatey desserts, and wine. The special menu will be available from February 11-18 and costs $170 per couple. Reservations for The Comus Inn can be made on OpenTable.
