Pride Month Celebrations Across Montgomery County

Pride Month is an annual commemoration held during the entire month of June. There is a lot to be PRIDEFUL about in Montgomery County, Maryland! To celebrate, we’ve pulled together the ultimate list of ways you and your family can show your pride all month long, across the county.

Moco Pride Prom
Silver Spring Civic Building

May 29 | 7 pm to 10:30 pm

MoCo Pride Prom is a prom for LGBTQ+ high school and community college youth across MD, DC, and VA. The event allows students to proudly attend prom, dress however they are most comfortable, and dance without fear with whomever they choose.

LGBTQ Community Happy Hour
Corella Café & Lounge
June 28 | 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Celebrate pride with a relaxed and festive evening of socializing at the LGBTQ+ Community Happy Hour at Corella Café in Bethesda, Maryland. Enjoy light food and drinks available for purchase, a welcoming space to meet new people or bring friends, and a great evening made for conversation.  

Takoma Pride
Parade: Carroll Avenue
Street Fair: Laurel Avenue 
June 7 | 10 am – 2 pm
Cost FREE

Celebrate Pride in Takoma Park with a Pride Parade and Street Fair. Join the Parade and march to the Street Fair, which includes LGBTQ+ organizations and allies sharing info, plus face painting, crafts, food, and more. All are welcome at this family-friendly event. 

Rockville Pride
Rockville Town Square

Cost FREE

The City of Rockville’s Human Rights Commission will celebrate the seventh annual Rockville Pride with its Pride event on Sunday, June 7, 2026. The event will be interactive and will include live performances, information booths and dialogue, HIV testing, and arts and crafts as well as children’s activities.

Reading Q & A with Author N.N Nicky

Join MoCo Pride Center for a special author event in the library for Pride Month! Author N.N. Nicky comes to Bethesda for a discussion and reading from his new LGBTQIA+ short story collection, That Missing Piece.

Pride Family Day at Glen Echo Park

Glen Echo Park is proud to collaborate with the office of Montgomery County Council Vice President Evan Glass to provide the fourth annual Pride Family Day! Enjoy an interactive chalk maze, arts and crafts, free carousel rides, and more.  

Open Hearts Mic Night

The Trans Celebration and Planning Committee (TCAP) partners with MoCo Pride Center to host a very special community performance: our very first MCPC Open Mic Night! Called the “Open Hearts Open Mic,” we welcome performers aged 14 years and older in any area of talent to show us what they’ve got!

Drag Bingo: Pride
Hammer and Stain Rockville

Celebrate Pride Month with an afternoon of sass, sparkle, and bingo fun! Join Drag Bingo: Pride with the one and only host, Bombshell Monroe. Tickets are $25, guests must register by June 13th!

Pride in the Park: A Comedy Show
Brookside Gardens

Cost FREE

LGBTQIA+ comics from comedy troupe Improbable Comedy brings the laughs in stand-up routines touching on topics of relationships, family and love at Pride in the Park. The event begins at 6:00 pm with food and beverages for purchase. The show begins at 6:00 pm. Ages 17+.

Board Game Night
MoCo Pride Center
June 21 | 2pm-5pm
Cost FREE

Join us for a board game night at MoCo Pride Center! This event happens on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month on the second floor of Bethesda-Chevy Chase Regional Services Center, now from 2 PM to 5 PM!

Drag Bingo
BlackRock Center for the Arts
June 6 | 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Paint the town rainbow at the ultimate Pride Month kickoff event! Join BlackRock Center for the Arts for a fabulous and fun night at Drag Bingo with the BlackRock Divas, including Tula, Regina, and accompanied by Ashlee.

Poolesville Pride

Celebrate Pride UpCounty with the first-ever Poolesville Pride Fest! Enjoy delicious locally sourced food and drink, local LGBTQIA+ artists and vendors, and a performing arts talent show at this historic community event.

Pride Lake Tour by Kayak
Black Hill Discovery Center
June 11 | 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm

Watch wildlife and enjoy a peaceful paddle with other LGBTQIA+ community members on the Pride Lake Tour. Your boat, paddle, and PFDs (Type III or V) if you have one. Don’t forget to bring water, sunscreen, and an extra pair of shoes, you can expect your feet and your clothes to get a bit damp.

Live in Your Truth Nights
Veterans Plaza

LIYT Nights & Drag Duels is a live entertainment series featuring live music, comedy performances, choreographed dance, and more! While simultaneously bringing awareness to vital advocacy causes, LIYT Nights serves as a fun and inclusive atmosphere, providing entertainment, arts/culture, resources, advocacy, and community.

Pride in the Plaza
Veteran’s Place

Cost FREE

As Pride Month comes to an end, gather together at Pride in the Plaza to celebrate members of the LGBTQ+ community! A day full of performances by local artists, pop-ups from local businesses, and free HIV testing, this is sure to be one of MoCo Pride Month’s most memorable events!

Pride on the Pontoon
June 30 | 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Black Hill Discovery Center

Enjoy a leisurely cruise on a pontoon boat on Little Seneca Lake. Look at local wildlife and connect with LGBTQIA+ people during Pride Month. Be sure to bring an extra jacket or blanket as it’s often cooler on the water. Tickets are $8.
