Calleva Pizza Night at the Farm

Head to Calleva Farm to enjoy delicious pizza, local beers and wines, ice cream and more. Reservations are offered on Friday and Saturday evenings from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm. This event is held entirely outdoors with touch-free ordering and table delivery. Relax and wander the farm. If you’re feeling adventurous, consider taking a ride on Calleva’s Zip Line.

Fridays at the Farm: A Family Crab & Barbeque Feast

Smokey Glen Farm
16407 Riffleford Road | Gaithersburg, MD

Head to Smokey Glen Farm for an evening of family fun and fantastic food for their monthly Fridays at the Farm events on August 8 and 13. Considered the “feast of all feasts” features steamed spiced #1 crabs, steamed spiced shrimp, and Smokey Glen Farm’s Famous Barbequed Chicken and Spareribs. Of course, you’ll don’t forget to load up on an array of sides including baked beans, mac & cheese, corn on the cob, salad bar, cole slaw and more. Family fun activities include horseshoes, miniature golf and a playground.

Let’s Cook@Casey: Bread and Beauty Dinner

On August 12, local authors Claudia Kousoulas and Ellen Letorneau discuss their cookbook, “Bread & Beauty,” while Chef Carolyn Crow leads an interactive cooking class that celebrates the bounty of the Montgomery County Agricultural Reserve. Cook along at home and you’ll enjoy a complete dinner by the end of class! Recipe book and shopping list will be sent out to registered participants 7 days before the class. Or, just watch the instructor and take notes. If cooking along, make sure to gather the necessary equipment and ingredients ahead of time.

Farm to Table Cocktail Dinner

Please join Tusculum Farm, McClintock Distillery (out of Frederick, MD), Relish Catering and Flowered for an evening of locally-sourced and hand-crafted foods, and cocktails on August 18. With your ticket, you will enjoy an early evening spirits tasting with passed appetizers followed by a 3-course dinner and drinks at The Farm. McClintock will have additional bottle spirits available for purchase at this event. Only a small number of tickets available for this event, allowing for an intimate dining experience and opportunities to interact with our food, spirits and herb experts. This event is 21+ and IDs will be checked.

A Six-Course Pairing Dinner

The Comus Inn

The Comus Inn has partnered with Loan Oak Farm Brewery for a six-course paring dinner featuring the talents of Comus Inn culinary directory and celebrity chef, Sam Demarco and his accomplished kitchen staff. Each course will be paired with fresh craft beer from Loan Oak and will feature a discussion led by Chef Sammy D and the brewmaster.
