Founded in 1913 by 13 visionary women, the Woman’s Club of Chevy Chase (WCCC) has grown into a vibrant organization of nearly 300 members dedicated to service, friendship, and community. While traditions have evolved, our mission remains clear: to benefit the community through volunteer service, cultural and educational programs, and philanthropy.
We support local students with scholarships, provide grants to organizations such as Doctors Without Borders and World Central Kitchen, host monthly American Red Cross blood drives, and partner with area nonprofits like Interfaith Works and Bethesda Cares.
Alongside service, members enjoy interest groups in music, literature, gardening, and more, as well as popular events like the Cherry Blossom Tea, Community Art Show, Artisan Craft Sale, and Santa’s Workshop. Whether through daytime or evening activities, WCCC fosters connection, learning, and purpose for members at every stage of life.
Building on over a century of “Community, Commitment, Caring,” we look forward to welcoming new members and continuing our legacy of service.
