VisArts’ Education faculty are practicing artists who bring their expertise to a diverse range of media, offering exceptional instruction to students of all ages and experience levels. They guide and mentor students as they develop new skills, experiment with materials and techniques, explore artistic styles and subjects, and transform abstract ideas into distinct works of art.

Outside the classroom, VisArts’ talented instructors continue to create and exhibit their work in galleries nationwide and globally. Many have their pieces featured in museums, public and private collections, public art installations, as well as in stores and restaurants.

Each year, VisArts’ Galleries department invites faculty members to submit up to two works for consideration in a juried exhibition. This year’s show features the work of thirty VisArts instructors from 2024, showcasing ceramics, painting, drawing, fiber, glass, photography, sculpture, wood, and mixed media.
