2017 Spooktacular Halloween Happenings

“Double, double toil and trouble. Fire burn, and caldron bubble.” Jack-o’-lanterns are being carved and skeletons are hanging in the doorway. That’s right – Halloween is quickly approaching. And, if you’re looking for spooks and thrills, then look no further than right here in Montgomery County.

From haunted forests to ghoulish train rides, face your darkest fears at one of these Halloween happenings and venues.

Field of Screams

Rated the #1 scream park in Maryland, Washington, D.C., Virginia and Delaware, the Field of Screams includes four haunted attractions. This includes two trails that wind through a haunted forest. The faint of heart should avoid the Slaughter Factory, a literal slaughterhouse featuring hanging corpses and the sounds of chainsaws buzzing. And, there is Hades Hayride, a ride through a dark and damp cornfield haunted by evil spirits. Field of Screams is open every Friday and Saturday, and most Thursdays and Sundays, through November 4.
