There’s always so many events and things to do in the Fall in Montgomery County! The following fall festivals are “don’t miss” events, offering great food, music and live entertainment for the whole family.
Trucktoberfest is a food truck and craft beer festival. The free festival features DMV food trucks; a craft beer garden hosted by a local restaurant, The Limerick Pub; live music on The Exchange Soundstage; and a kid’s zone. Oktoberfest at Kentlands features Bavarian music, dance, food, crafts, pony rides, moonbounces, pumpkin decorating, face painting and more. October 12, 2014 – Gaithersburg, MD
Annual Pumpkin Festival at Butler’s pick a pumpkin; take a hayride; explore a hay maze; and enjoy crafts, food, and family activities. Celebrate the harvest each year by inviting families from all over the area to share traditional autumn activities and enjoy a country outing. Throughout October – Germantown, MD
Pumpkin Trolley Fest at the National Capital Trolley Museum includes a stop at Pinson’s pumpkin market where they can decorate their pumpkins to take home. Weekends in October – Colesville, MD
Howl-o-wine is a family friendly, fundraising event at Sugarloaf Mountain Vineyard. Bring a blanket, lunch & your best furry friend. Dogs welcome! Enjoy award winning wine, take part in the furry friend Halloween Costume Contest, get a head start on holiday shopping, and enter to win one of the many raffle gift baskets.
