Go MoCo Month Participation

Visit Montgomery invites you to participate in Go MoCo Month! The Go MoCo Month campaign celebrates the vibrant entrepreneurial spirit within Montgomery County’s tourism and hospitality industry.

  • May 1-10: Week one starts with Go Shop, aligning with National Small Business Week, celebrating the diverse range of small shops contributing to the county’s charm. Locals shops will offer a deal or discount. Participants will check-in to the Go Shop digital passport to redeem deal and be entered to win the Ultimate Go MoCo Giveaway.
  • May 10-19: Week two, Go Eat shifts the spotlight to the region’s culinary diversity with the 4th annual MoCo Eats Week. Food and beverage businesses can participate in the largest Montgomery County restaurant week of the year. Participants will check-in to the Go Eat digital passport to redeem deal and be entered to win the Ultimate Go MoCo Giveaway.
  • May 19-25: The third week, Go Stay, coincides with National Travel & Tourism Week, emphasizing the county’s welcoming accommodations. Hotels will feature special packages encouraging spring and summer travel to the county.
  • May 24-31: As the campaign crescendos towards Memorial Day Weekend, week four completes the month-long event with Go Play, highlighting fun things to see and do during your weekend in Montgomery County. Participants will check-in at events on the Go Play digital passport to be entered to win the Ultimate Go MoCo Giveaway.

Participation is easy:

    • Fill out the participation form.
    • Include the deal, discount, or hotel package you would like to offer.

    Qualifications to Participate:

    • To participate you must submit a deal or discount to be offered during the week that aligns with your business.
    • Only businesses with a physical location in Montgomery County, MD are eligible to participate. Vendors at markets are considered a physical location.

    Participation in Go MoCo Month Includes:

    • Placement on Go MoCo Month Microsite
    • Placement on digital passport in Visit Montgomery’s Adventure Planner app
    • Marketing toolkit: flyers, social media assets, and banner ads

    PLUS: During each week, visitors are encouraged to check in at each participating business to be entered to win up to $1,000 in prizes.
