Brown Cow Creamery is a multi-generational farm located in the Montgomery County Agricultural Reserve. We raise a small herd of grassfed dairy and beef cattle, grains and hay. Our farm offers grassfed beef and pork and recently began turning milk from our own dairy cattle into varieties of cheddar and colby cheeses. We grow our own corn and mill grains right on the farm, turning them into meal and flours for the consuming public as well as local distillers. We receive the distillers grain back to feed our cattle as part of the recycling circle. Our family is a conscientious keeper of our land, and we strive to keep the land clean for future generations. We are active participants in the Million Acre Challenge, a program with the goal of achieving one million agricultural acres in Maryland using healthy soil techniques by 2030, and employ a nutrient management plan to oversee the application of nutrients to our acreage. The farm proudly donates product to local food banks via Manna Food Center and also participates in the Farm to Food Bank program. Welcome to our farm!
