The 10th Annual Wheaton Arts Parade and Festival – www.wheatonartsparade.org – returns to downtown Wheaton on Sunday, September 27, bringing artists, musicians, dancers, community organizations, food vendors and thousands of art lovers together for a uniquely Wheaton celebration.

This isn’t a parade where you just watch. Everyone can be an artist — and everyone can be in the parade and it’s FREE. Participants can push, pull, carry, wear or perform their art as they make their way through Wheaton.

There is still time to join the celebration. Community members are encouraged to sign up now to walk in the parade. A limited number of festival booths are also still available for artists interested in selling their work.

Following the parade, the celebration continues with a visual arts festival featuring more than 50 booths where artists sell their original work.

Community organizations will offer art-making activities and giveaways, while the Kids’ Zone features free activities for children, including FREE face painting and balloon twisting.

The afternoon features non-stop entertainment on three stages, showcasing Montgomery County talent and the incredible diversity of the Wheaton community.
