Everyone has a story to tell! Have you always been interested in telling yours, but didn’t know how to begin? Join Julia Tagliere, local writer and founder of the MoCo Underground Writers Showcase, to learn some unconventional ways you can craft your own tale. In this workshop for beginning-to-intermediate writers, Julia will introduce and share examples of ten different forms, from hermit-crab fiction to erasure poetry, as well as allow time for individual practice, inspired by items from the Sandy Spring Museum archives, and group feedback.
We will try our hardest to provide accommodations so people of all abilities can take part in this event. For interpretation and other accommodation requests please contact [email protected] or call 301-774-0022 at least two-weeks prior to the event you plan to attend.
