The Montgomery Symphony Orchestra invites you to join us for a celebration of “Music & Arts in Our School” month! Jinosko’s “Three Sketches of Unblemished Earth” and Mussorgsky’s “Pictures at an Exhibition” are two pieces centered around the connection between sight and sound, giving us something we can hear based on what we see.
Through a collaboration with the 3rd Grade Class of Lafayette Elementary School and art teacher Laurie McLaughlin Ward, students will imagine and create visual artwork based on what we hear in the music to be displayed during the performance, creating an immersive experience for the audience. We hope you’ll join us for this special community collaboration!
