Montgomery County has had a remarkable history since its founding Sept. 6, 1776. Join us for a walking tour of Rockville, Montgomery County’s seat of government, to highlight points of interest telling the county’s 250-year history. The tour will be entirely on downtown sidewalks with several street crossings; 7 blocks total (approximately 3/4 of mile altogether). Audio headsets will be provided. Participants are responsible for their own transportation and will meet at the new Montgomery History Center.
