Join the Chesapeake Climate Action Network on Wednesday, January 7 at 7 PM for a screening of the film adaption of Mike Tidwell’s book The Lost Trees of Willow Avenue, by filmmakers Richard Hall and Simone Fari. The event will be held at the newly renovated Takoma Park Maryland Library in the Program room for a film viewing, discussion about Mike’s book, and book signing.
The book and film dramatically cover many of the main impacts of climate change in Takoma Park – trees dying, Lyme disease spreading, and homes flooding. But it also vividly depicts our emerging clean energy economy here of rooftop solar and electric cars and volunteers like you fighting back.
