Glenstone is a place that seamlessly integrates art, architecture, and nature into a serene and contemplative environment. Guided by the personal vision of its founders, Glenstone assembles post-World War II artworks of the highest quality that trace the greatest historical shifts in the way we experience and understand art of the 20th and 21st centuries. These works are presented in a series of refined indoor and outdoor spaces designed to facilitate meaningful encounters for our visitors.
Glenstone Museum is open Thursday-Sunday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Admission is always free and visitors must schedule visits through our website. Due to the fragile nature of the works on view, all visitors must be 12 or older and all minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
While most visits must be scheduled in advance, students 12 and older, active-duty military members, and museum professionals enjoy guaranteed entry during our operating hours for themselves plus one guest upon presenting a valid identification card at the Arrival Hall. Passengers who arrive at Glenstone on the Ride On bus (route 301) will be offered guaranteed entry during operating hours; this bus drops visitors off directly in front of the Arrival Hall.
