Artists & Makers Studios flagship operation is an art center complex in Rockville, MD. Hosting a wide variety of resident artists, makers, businesses and affiliates, it offers studios for rent, extensive classroom & workshop spaces, along with several galleries. A&M hosts an Invited Artist Gallery, a Resident Artist monthly exhibit Gallery, and Gallery 209 – a member Gallery. Artists and exhibitions are juried and curated by Cathy Hirsh under the direction of executive director Judith HeartSong. Open 10-4 Monday through Saturday. First Friday openings (barring major holidays) are on First Fridays from 5-8pm.
