Since opening in 2010, The Adventure Park at Sandy Spring has grown from one of the country’s first Swiss-style adventure parks into the largest man-made outdoor climbing park in the world.
At the heart of it all is the Aerial Adventure Forest—an obstacle course in the trees where guests climb, zip, balance, and navigate their way through 15 color-coded trails. Whether you’re starting on our purple trails (12–20 feet up) or pushing into double black diamond challenges soaring 65 feet in the air, each route offers a different kind of accomplishment—at your own pace, on your own path.
Alongside it, the Labyrinth offers a different take on adventure. Built on a pole-based structure, it delivers many of the same climbing and aerial challenges in a more compact format—ideal for younger climbers and groups. The entire Labyrinth can be reserved privately, creating a dedicated space for parties, celebrations, and shared experiences for ages 6 and up.
And for those looking to mix in a different kind of challenge, our axe throwing experience adds a grounded, social element to the day—perfect for groups, friendly competition, and rounding out the adventure.
Together, the Forest, the Labyrinth, and Axes create nearly 250 unique ways to challenge yourself—and experience it alongside others.
