Tis the season for safe gatherings and festive holiday parties, and you don’t want to show up empty handed. If you’re celebrating close to home or driving to see family for the holidays, stop by one of the Montgomery County breweries along the Tastemakers Trail, and pick up a unique, seasonal brew.

Silver Branch Brewing Co.

Silver Spring, MD

Gnome for the Holidays
SAISON | ABV 7.6%

The Gnomes came to celebrate with this strong holiday saison, brewed with dark Belgian candi sugar for a bit of caramel complexity alongside the classic Saison pepper and spice yeast character.

PAPER LANTERN
WITBIER/BLANCHE | ABV 4.8%

Light and effervescent, Paper Lantern is perfect for any occasion! Indian coriander, Caribbean Curaçao orange peel, and a few secret spices make Paper Lantern citrusy and refreshing.

True Respite Brewing Co.

Rockville

Peppermint Mocha Latte
Stout – Imperial / Double Milk | ABV 10.5%

Brewed with milk sugar and conditioned on Mayorga coffee beans, Peppermint Mocha Latte is cold-pressed using Mexican vanilla, and peppermint candy pieces.

Mexican Hot Chocolate
Stout – Imperial / Double Milk | ABV 10.5%

A unique collab between True Respite and Edgewater Liquors, Mexian Hot Chocolate is brewed with milk sugar and conditioned on fresh cayenne chilis, fresh cinnamon sticks, and cold-pressed Mexican vanilla.

Elder Pine Brewing & Blending

Gaithersburg, MD

Christmas Burns Red
American Lager | ABV 5%

Christmas Burns Red starts with the finest German Pilsner Malt, a brand new American hop called Evergreen and perfectly selected lager yeast strain. The result is ultra crisp & clean with notes of orange blossom honey, crackery European malt & Georgia peaches.

Orange Tangerine Convergence
Fruited Gose | ABV 4.5%

Orange Tangerine Convergence was brewed with Himalayan pink sea salt, Indian coriander, cara cara orange & tangerine purée and was fermented drier  than our In Awe Of series of Fruited Sours. This one is basically a mimosa in a can.
