Are you curious about how your health relates to your genes? Have you ever wondered how ancestry testing works, and what such tests can (or cannot) tell you? Do you have questions about how law enforcement uses DNA in criminal investigations? Join us to learn, share, and reflect together about genetics in relation to health, ancestry testing, and law enforcement, among other topics. This program is offered by Dr. Rob O’Malley of Personal Genetics Education & Dialogue (PGED.org), a program based at Harvard Medical School. Dr. O’Malley is a biological anthropologist who shifted from a career studying wild chimpanzees to one focused on public engagement with science.
