Great Truths without Division: Chinese Garden Culture in Contemporary Artpresents a fusion of traditional Chinese garden aesthetics with contemporary art, reflecting the intersection of Taoist, Buddhist, and Christian philosophies. Featuring 32 artists from Minzu University of China, the exhibit showcases innovative works in painting, sculpture, and digital media that highlight cultural exchange and shared human values. This exhibit will be on view from July 27 – September 21, 2025.
During the reception, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a workshop with exhibit artists to learn about ink painting. Working on canvas of paper towels, this workshop will teach the way to handle ink, create composition and layers, and explore rhythm and rhyme – all of which will come together to create floral designs. All skill levels are welcome to join.
