Located centrally, you have access to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD), and Baltimore/Washington Thurgood Marshall International Airport (BWI). Flights and connections are available 24/7.
For those traveling by train, Amtrak services BWI Airport and Union Station in Washington, DC. You can take Ride On Bus 201 from BWI or MetroRail’s Red Line from Union Station. The Washington metro area’s extensive network ensures an easy trip to Montgomery County.
Driving here is a breeze with GPS, but if you prefer a map:
- From the northwest: Take I-70 East to I-270 South.
- From the northeast: Take I-95 South to I-495 towards Virginia, then I-270 North, or I-95 South to MD 200 West. (MD 200 is a toll road requiring an E-Z Pass, or you’ll receive a bill by mail at a higher rate.)
- From the south: Take I-95 North to I-495 towards Baltimore, then I-270 North.

Getting Around Montgomery County
