EVEN HOTELS

Visitors to Rockville, Maryland will now be able to maintain their healthy and active lifestyle when traveling for business or pleasure with the grand opening of the EVEN Hotel, the first of its kind in the world. Opening in Summer 2014 , the hotel is designed to enable guests to stay on track with their wellness routines while on the road. EVEN will feature spa inspired showers, signature EO bath products, Eucalyptus linens, and mood lighting. Guests will have the option to choose from a wide selection of healthy food and beverage options, including made to order smoothies, Grab and Go meals, and signature cocktails. All guestrooms will be equipped with a 1400 sqft fitness area gym with three zones for mat work, cardio and weights. The hotel chain will make a perfect addition to this health-conscious region!

iPic THEATERS and AMP MUSIC AND EVENT VENUE

Pike & Rose, the first phase of one of the largest redevelopment projects in the Washington, D.C. capital region, is currently under construction. The project, which will be an entertainment, cuisine, and shopping district designed to engage and enchant announces it will be home to two exciting new entertainment destinations this fall: iPic Theaters and AMP, a music and event venue. iPic Theaters, the popular luxury movie theater will feature leather reclining armchairs, an online reservation system that lets moviegoers select their seats , restaurant-quality food that can be delivered directly to seats and memberships offering exclusive benefits. AMP, the new Strathmore-affiliated venue is also expected to open at the Pike & Rose development site. The 250-seat event space will offer onsite catering by 550 Events, a division of Michael Babin’s award-winning Neighborhood Restaurant Group, and is expected to host rentals in the fall and hold concerts beginning in 2015.

  1. That theatre sounds so nice! I wish more of them had a system where you could preselect your seats online. That would make movie premiers so much easier. Also, I’d love to see some pictures of the music and event venue. My sister is looking for potential places to host her wedding reception.
