Saturday, June 3, 2017 | 12pm – 5pm | Main Street Takoma – City Parking Lot Next to 201 Ethan Allen Avenue
Taste multiple offerings from local breweries, plus food trucks and live music! 10 local breweries are registered to participate. Tasting size= 4oz pour. Each brewery will bring multiple beers. The event will take place rain or shine.
Saturday, June 3, 2017 | 10am – 3pm | Woodmont Avenue and Elm Street in downtown Bethesda
Enjoy a day of free family fun! Celebrate children, art, and all things fun at the 23nd annual Imagination Bethesda. The festival will feature activity tents along the streets, face painters bring butterflies and pirates to life, a stage of live entertainment will have the whole street dancing, and more!

The 37th Annual Washington Folk Festival showcases the diversity of traditional music in the Washington area. All musicians, storytellers, dancers, and craftspeople live in the greater Washington metropolitan area and volunteer their talents to put on a first-class festival of national renown. With performances representing cultures from around the world as well as around the country, it is your chance to find out what is going on in the folk communities of the area.

Taste of Wheaton highlights the deliciously diverse restaurants in downtown Wheaton. Taste of Wheaton highlights includes food samples from some of downtown Wheaton’s best restaurants at prices ranging from $1 to $5 per “taste,” a beer and wine garden, live music and dance performances, kids’ rides, face painting, balloon sculptures and caricature drawings.

The Centro Español de Washington, DC, is bringing a taste of Spain to Strathmore. Join us for this free flamenco festival where you will feel like you’re at the fairgrounds of Sevilla. Listen to live flamenco beats, watch the intricate foot and arm work of passionate flamenco dancers, and taste a variety of Spanish tapas. Thanks to the event’s amazing sponsors, there will be performers on stage throughout the day and a variety of food tents. We hope to see you at the Strathmore Feria fairgrounds!

AFI Docs is the nation’s documentary film festival known for showcasing the best in documentary filmmaking from the U.S. and around the world. Documentaries in the festival are seen by influential audiences that have the ability to shape our society such as cultural leaders, senators, congresspersons and Supreme Court Justices.
