Their hyper-engaging content has made them the most visited travel lifestyle publisher in the world, and their branded content outranks all other digital publishers in the travel industry. Visit Montgomery partnered with Matador to create an outdoor-adventure themed video. The video was posted on May 23, 2017 and already has 70,000 views on the Matador Facebook page.

Visit Montgomery has partnered with Matador to launch a nationwide campaign. Matador published a branded article on March 28, 2017 that will receive 200,000 impressions – “The best place to stay on a trip to DC is Montgomery County. Here’s why.” Matador will also produce a 90-120 second video featuring Montgomery County. The video is scheduled to launch early May 2017.

Each year, Visit Montgomery funds a Hospitality Scholarship for students at Montgomery College. On March 7, 2017, two students, accompanied by Montgomery College representative Noah Saposnik, came by to share their success stories. Vira Safai, past Chair of the Visit Montgomery Board of Directors, joined in on the visit. Vira teaches classes at Montgomery College and is the owner/operator of the Comfort Inn Gaithersburg.

Bethany Manimbo and Jessica Gardner attended Visit Frederick’s Annual Meeting on November 1st at the Weinberg Center for the Arts. Visit Frederick celebrated its 40th year of success by sharing its history with members and guests through a slideshow and awards presentation.
Visit Montgomery has established a Hospitality Scholarship at Montgomery College for students in financial need. This scholarship assists the 200-plus enrolled in the hospitality program with tuition and supplies. Read the November Newsletter.
